Do I have to provide my payment information in Step 2?

Yes. We perform credit card checking for security purposes. You’ll not be charged on your credit card unless you exceed the $200 amount. When you exceed the $200 limit, you’ll only be charged the amount of resources you used. View our pricing page for more details.

Why don’t all applications get approved?

For quality assurance reasons, not all applications are approved to ensure the data safety of our current cloud clients. Imagine the public cloud as a community and we screen out potentially malicious users to ensure the safety of all the current residents.

I didn't get the email from Step 2

Please check your promotions tab or spam/junk inbox. If you still can’t find it and you believe you’re eligible for the program, you can contact us here.
If you have previously applied to the $200 free trial program, you’re not eligible to apply again with the same email. Please try again with a different email address.

How will I know if I’m approved for the free trial?

Make sure you have completed Step 1 and 2, and pay attention to your inbox (check your spam inbox too). Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Why haven’t I heard from VEXXHOST after completing step 1 & 2?

Some of the common reasons for an unsuccessful application are:

Spamming Step 1 form with fake/suspicious information may result in an unsuccessful application.
You may not have passed the credit card check in step 2, please verify you have the correct information and try again.
If you are an existing client, or you have been granted $200 previously, you’re not eligible for the $200 credit. As the passport program is designed to encourage the learning of OpenStack to new users.
